Acrylic Crystals

kakoi acrylic crystals

Kakoi is offering a new range of decorative Acrylic Crystals that can be used for what ever your imagination can come up with. Primarily targeted at the Craft and Arts market we see these crystals being used in a multitude of ways. Their use is only limited by your imagination.

The crystals are shaped as faceted gems with small holes on opposing edges so that they can be tied/sewn to something or linked together in chains or surface areas. They come in a range of sizes from 12mm up to 81mm and we also have some faceted drops which you can see in one of the pictures below.

12, 14, 16, 19, 22, 26, 28, 31, 36, 42, 46, 49, 53, 61, 70 & 81mm

Lighting

ceiling lights with crystalsShown here are some examples of how the crystals can be used to decorate ceiling lights and lamp shades.

The polished facets of the crystals scatter the light well to create lovely lighting effects that will add a bit of class to any room. You can make elaborate chandeliers or just add a few crystals to an existing lamp shade.

The picture here show how a simple metal disc can be fitted to a basic ceiling rose and then a series of alternating crystal strings can been hung from the outer edge to create a stunning centre piece.

The picture below shows how a basic lampshade frame can be decorated with crystal strings. Here, all the strings are the same with the crystals increasing in size from top to bottom. Another approach might be to create a "sheet" of crystals by joining them together in a criss-cross chain link fashion and then draping them over the lamp shade frame.

You could also mix the crystals with fabric or cords to add some colour....
